Children under 5 are not allowed on the tours; however, there is a discounted rate for tours for minors between 5 and 20 years old. The tours vary in length and can include visits to different parts of this expansive castle. Parents with children of any age can also enjoy their visit without a tour. Admission into the castle covers tasting fees and additionally grants access to the two main levels of the castle. During the busiest time of year, a private tasting area is set up just for parents with children.

Today, Napa Wine Tours has selected a special winemaker dinner to spotlight. On August 12th, the 2014 Michelin Guide Recommended, Tarla Mediterranean Restaurant invites guests for a special four course dinner and wine pairing featuring the high quality wines of Pellet Estate paired with Tarla's superb, local and seasonal cuisine. The evening begins with 2013 Pellet Estate CabRose, Pellet Vineyard. The CabRose is a very special blend consisting of only 22 cases. This special blend is paired with an appetizer of delicious, flaming, fried Halloumi cheese served with apricots, lemon, Truffle honey, and grilled fresh bread. The second course continues with a crisp 2013 Pellet Estate Un-Oaked Chardonnay, Sunchase Vineyard. This Chardonnay aged in stainless steel is perfectly paired with a toasted barley and baby kale salad served with poached Turkish apricots, tart apple, pistachios, pickled red onion, and a roasted apple vinaigrette. Next, this delightful dinner pairs 2011 Pellet Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Pellet Vineyard with a tender, grilled, marinated quail served with grilled squash from Tarla’s garden, potato salsify puree, roasted King Trumpet mushrooms, and grilled lemon. The evening comes to an end with another special wine from Pellet Estate - 2010 Pellet Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Pellet Vineyard.
